Runy Calmera is an economist, trainer and coach. In his first 4 years as a policy advisor at the Ministry of Economic Development of Curacao, he was trained by a senior macro economist, Dr. Marein van Schaaijk. He just got his Phd on how to build a macro economic model for a small economy. Runy was happy to be one of his first students.

Dr. Marein van Schaaijk taught him all the ins and out on how to gather data, how to put them in a consistent framework and how to monitor and adapt this macro economic framework. He also showed him how to create policy scenarios and convert these into policy notes for Senior Policy makers.

Runy have constructed macro economic models for Sint Maarten, Sint Kitts and Nevis, Grenada and Curacao.
His passion is to teach policy advisors how to do macro economic analysis and develop their skills.
